Seeking God is a matter of the Heart

Seeking God is the wisest thing we can do in these times. The bible exhorts us to seek him with all our hearts. And those who really seek him with the heart are found of Him. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

Seeking God is a matter of the heart. That much needed search begins in our hearts. That search must be of ALL heart as established in the bible. It means that it must be our PRIORITY. The word of God says in Deuteronomy 4:29:

But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.

That search, that desire to seek the face of God will lead you to great blessings for your life. Seeking God will:

  • lead you to life
  • lead you to forgiveness
  • lead you to all blessings
  • lead you to provision
  • lead you to protection
  • lead you to understanding and wisdom
  • lead you to renew your strength

What stops you from seeking God? Do you think God is not a priority in your life? You haven’t given God the place that really belongs to him? What would you do to look for him with all your heart and start living those abundant blessings that He has for you?

I assure you that when you put God as your priority your life will change!

Having a reading time with our children before bed can be a challenge. Today we live surrounded by many distractions that do not edify. Having a time to share with family, or between parents and children before going to bed is healthy. Having a devotional time or reading the word of God is even more so.

This beautiful book (because it really has beautiful illustrations) contains 90 devotionals inspired by the Word of God. It brings to light key biblical passages in a beautiful and very structured way. Excellent for children between the ages of 3 to 7 years.

Not only does it give you the opportunity to read them, but you can also encourage and practice a prayer time with them. This book includes devotions of both the old testament and the new testament, it really is very complete!

the habit of spending time with God

Promoting communication with God in children is extremely important. Children should learn from childhood about the word of God, prayer and who they are in God.

Today I want to share with you about a book that can help us parents on this topic. Especially with the girls. This book is titled “I am Brave” by Tommy Nelson. It is one of the books in a series.

How to make your own index cards for Bible Journaling

Bible Journaling is one of my favorites things to do. I can have a bible study, a devotional and a creative time all in one! - Recently I've been practicing with incorporating Index Cards to my Bible Journaling creative process. Today, I want to show you how to make your own index cards for Bible Journaling.

Bible Journaling is one of my favorites things to do. I can have a bible study, a devotional and a creative time all in one! – Recently I’ve been practicing with incorporating Index Cards to my Bible Journaling creative process. Today, I want to show you how to make your own index cards for Bible Journaling.

I’ve seen a lot of Memory Dex cards around the web and I loved the idea of making my own (because I don’t have those lovely cards). I wanted to use the supplies that I already have without spending to much. Here’s how I did it!

Make your own index cards for Bible Journaling

The first thing we need to do is look around the supplies we already have. I used the following materials:

Now that we have the materials, I started cutting two pieces of scrapbook paper with the cutter.

Then, I used the Envelope Maker to cut the corners of the piece of paper and also to make the TAB. See the pictures for references.

  • 1- Cut the piece of scrapbook paper
  • 2- Cut the corners with the Envelope Maker Punch
  • 3 – Make the tab with the Envelope Maker Punch
  • 4 – Cut the rest of the paper next to the tab with the cutter

Once I have my index card prepared I start decorating them with the supplies listed above.

Once I have my index card decorated with a few supplies I added a Psalm I’ve been studying. Also, I used my newest bible journaling printableCrowned with Love” available for purchase at my Etsy Shop. It’s an Instant Download at an affordable price.
